Palace of Fine Arts

The Palace of Fine Arts was built for the 1915 Panama-Pacific International Exposition. In 1964, the original Palace was completely demolished and only the steel structure of the exhibit was left standing. The building has been restored to its original glory and consequently, looks awesome now. Australian eucalyptus trees decorate the eastern shore of the lagoon these days. Additionally, many forms of wildlife have made their home at the Palace. Swans, ducks, geese, turtles, frogs, and raccoons are some animals that visitors can find. The Exploratorium science museum and the Palace Fine Arts Theatre are some of the attractions you’ll find there. Furthermore, the spot is a popular attraction for tourists and a favorite location for weddings and wedding photographs.
